Recap of the Homestand

The Traffic went 6-4 on their recent homestand against Fargo, Philadelphia, and San Juan.

Fargo: The hometown team earned a 2-2 split with a very good Fargo team. The highlight of the series was game 1, where the Traffic came back from 3 down in the 9th to tie and then won it in the 11th on a pinch-hit RBI triple by Miguel Cerveza.

Philadelphia: The Traffic lost game 1 of the series, but took the last two. Alex Sanchez finally started to come around, pitching 7 innings of shutout ball with 10 strikeouts in the rubber game.

San Juan: They took 2 out of 3 from the Dead Bunnies as well. Shawn Butler had the second extra inning walk-off hit of the homestand to win game one 11-10.

Who was hot:

Cap Herrera: Hit .432 with 3 homers and 12 RBIs.
Watty Miller: Hit .381 and scored 7 runs.

Who was not:

Bret King: Hit only .175 despite driving in 6.
Shawn Butler: Hit .194 in 10 games.
