Atlanta clinches division, Trenton locked into Wild Card spot

Atlanta clinched their 4th straight division title with a 4-3 win over Washington coupled with a 7-4 Trenton loss to Norfolk. This means Atlanta will host Trenton in the first round of the playoffs and their upcoming 3-game series in Trenton will not mean anything in terms of playoff position. Trenton GM gumbercules said, "Yeah, it's a little disappointing that we couldn't catch Atlanta, but that doesn't mean we can't get what we want out of this season. We want to win the World Series, and we can do that from a wild-card spot. We're looking forward to the playoffs at this point. We'll get our shot." Expect the Traffic to rest most, if not all, of their starters; Damion Mays has already been announced as the starting pitcher in game 1 of the regular season series against Atlanta in place of David Dunwoody.
